If your contacts are also using apreet, we overlay both your itineraries, and you see when your itineraries overlap, so you will see who else will be at the fair the night before or grab a coffee with a friend at the airport.Did we get your itinerary wrong? Tell us, and we’ll follow up on it.Favorites. Favoring contacts: Make a friend a favorite, and you’ll get a notification when you can meet them.Share with Friends. For this beta, we have 50 seats available. Invite your friends from within the app.It is all about Privacy. Hide a Destination: Would you like to avoid other apreet users matching with you at one of your destinations? Hide that destination. We’ll hide it and all other trips to the same destination.. apreet does not show your exact location or your itinerary to your contacts. Contacts using apreet only see you when you both plan to be at the same destination.Do *not* use apreet on 2 phones; it’s not yet supported.Android App Permissions:IDENTITY: For better performance, we create an apreet account on your phone to sync your contacts. CALENDAR: For this app to work, allow access to your phones calendar so that we can build your itinerary for the next 4 weeks. We do not modify or create new calendar events; we use event titles and locations for the itinerary. We disregard events notes/descriptions.LOCATION (optional): Allow access to your location. We use it as a starting point for your itinerary. If unavailable, we fall back onto the home base you provide during registration or a calendar events location for that day. Either one may not indicate your actual location, which youll find strange; thus, location is recommended. LOCATION (always, optional) If you want to receive notifications of your favorite users coming to your area, allow us to use your location while not using the app.CONTACTS: Allow access to your address book so we can place contacts with an address (city) next to the destinations you plan to visit. PHONE: You can call your contacts directly from the app.
